Harbor News

Fall 2006

Another Summer in the books, and it was a big one! We started the Summer by adding seven new distributors throughout Indiana and Michigan, and if that didn't seem like enough we threw in one more in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, that includes Mackinaw Island. The response to Harborside has been overwhelming in the new markets. We are doing what we do best; forming a solid foundation of accounts that will give Harborside the legs it needs to grow. The future in all the markets looks great. Even with such a large expansion I have to give due credit to the original four in Wisconsin and Illinois. These markets showed no signs of slowing down, up nearly 30% this year to date. I can't say enough about the quality of service Harborside has received from all my distributors, but we would be nowhere without the support of all of you have enjoyed Harborside over the last three years. And remember as the colors turn and you walk around admiring the change nothing can finish the day better than a Smooth, Refreshing Harborside Lager. And as the leaves start to fall and the thermometer begins to drop, nothing reminds the brain of the glory and warmth of Summer better than a Harborside Lager. Stay Happy, Keep Smiling, and Drink your Harborside!

As featured in the Sunday Chicago Tribune 08/14/2005:

He's not just having a beer

"Some people's dreams come in the form of the Great American Novel. James Kosin's dream comes in a 12-ounce bottle... Kosin, 32, of Rogers Park, was working for an alcohol distributor a few years ago and knew he wanted a little more out of his beer than what Miller and Budweiser were offering. But he didn't want anything as exotic as what most microbreweries were brewing... The beer itself is slightly sweet, with more body than macrobrews. It's reminiscent of German lagers--crisp, with an emphasis on drinkability."
